As far as James Bond is concerned, I find them all to be different enough from each other that you can't easily compare them. I'm sure it also depends which actor you saw playing Bond first and how old you were at the time. The first Bond film I saw at the pictures was "Live and Let Die" and it certainly left an impression on me. Plus it had the best Bond theme song ever :-)

I knew Drago would've already investigated this, so to avoid the R.I.P. thread going off topic I thought I'd resurrect this one.

Every actor that's played the part has done at least one excellent film (Brosnan excepted) which makes it difficult to compare them -
Connery - From Russia with Love
Lazenby - OHMSS
Moore - For Your Eyes Only
Dalton - License to Kill

Have to disagree there about Brosnan . My choices are:

Connery - Goldfinger
Moore - Spy Who Loved Me....Skiing off a really really high cliff & ensuing parachute gag, underwater cars, tall bloke with metal teeth (Jaws aka Richard Kiel, originally started playing The Incredible Hulk in the TV series but was replaced by Ferrigno)

Brosnan - The World is Not enough
Dalton - Living Daylights
Craig- Skyfall

OHMSS isn't a bad movie, just not counting Lazenby as how can you choose his best Bond flick with only one?.
