Sitrep - early lead for those with no car hole.

None of your options really match what I have, but I've voted for the 2nd as being the closest, for the parts of the garage not partitioned off into laundry room & workshop.

Various paraphernalia;
My trailer, a couple of bikes, old frames & wheels, some racking with boxes on, etc...
(the yellow bike, went free of charge to @Milzy, I think he moved it on)

Plus , at one time, a Defender 110
I owned that LR, from December 2005 - January 2010
I'm not certain when the Fabia estate left us? (it was a '03' plate, that we bought new)
It's a tall garage, as my intention (when we moved in) was to buy a 101FC, so needed it tall enough to have room to have a LR on axle-stands, if need be

It's still full, but with a lot of different items nowadays
The only visible items that remain from the photograph below, are the lighting-board & a bent frame (from a 1997 RTC - my only one!)

The Laurels. Garage. 10.JPG

May 2021, it was a bit tidier
The Octavia had been sold (hence uninsured), & awaiting collection, due to the Kodiaq arriving
(it's not lived in the garage since!!)

When I was sailing every week (except the dead of winter) people at the sailing club regarded a garage as a place for drying sails and storing dinghies in the winter to dry them out

The amount of carp a dinghy sailor can "need" makes cyclist look like tidy freaks!!

I believe the term you are looking for is "lady shave."

Have you been looking at those old copies of Knave again?
