Today I went to Destination Bike in Box Hill. It's a bike shop that does coffee and cake and has seating and racks outside.

Highly recommended and I think nicer than the big National Trust cafe just down the road.

Coffee and a brownie was £5-odd which is fair enough. The coffee was good and the brownie was mega choclatey and lovely. Just before I left I noticed the cool vintage cycling mug that I had been given. Here's Laurent Fignon in his Systeme U kit.

I went to Destination Bike again today. Still great coffee and cake. Prices have gone up a bit. Coffee and a piece of carrot cake was £7

Not a recommendation but an observation. For any cyclists on here who ever ride the Horseshoe Pass it appears the Ponderosa has shut for good.

"Mint & Ginger Coffee House" in Tur Langton, Leicestershire

Really nice, well-priced and cycle-friendly.

Black Dog Coffee in Devizes. 30 second ride from the K&A canal path.

Another is Podium in Newbury. Also a short ride from the same canal but not a short ride from Devizes! If you like your coffee shop to have a McLaren, an Aston Martin and a Honda NSX in the seating area then this is for you. Part coffee shop, part supercar showroom.

Pickleberry Café in Bratton, Wiltshire is a nearby stop for me. Lovely cake.

If anyone is riding along the Bridgewater Canal and goes through Moore then just down the hill is the Shed cafe

cycle friendly and lovely place

also have Gluten Free cakes if you need that - although bit dubious of they total GFness !!!

but nice, clean and friendly
