Many of mine are freebies from the front of bike mags and do me fine as neck rolls, ear muffs or beanie hats throughout the winter.

TKmax start stocking them about this time of year too.

I have both the more expensive 'original Buff' and the cheap or freebie ones, they are all pretty much the same. I can highly recommend them for those colder days.

I love the proper 'Buff' brand ones and have a couple including a summer UV one.
I also have some of the cheaper ones - TKMaxx do packs of 3 for around £6-8, depending on colour and pattern.

I bought a Merino Wool neck buff from Planet X a couple of seasons ago for round about a Tenner or so and has proved to be one of my most useful/practical/valu-fo-money bike bits ever. Worth looking out for. Merino worth its weight in gold IMO!

My favourite buff came free with a copy of MBR a few years ago.

The original cycle chat ones are brilliant, just as good as the original Buff.
The ones given away free with Cycling Plus over the years are ok, but just a little shorter in length.
