I listened from 8:11 for a few minutes and didn't notice any comedy

Each to their own eh?
Didn't even find him funny on The Young Ones.

Couldn't stand that programme

You know the Cold War's over? There's a whole new group of people you're meant to fear and distrust now.
Aagh - the clip's on a show hosted by Hugh Dennis. No way. I'd rather listen to the Archers. At the dentists! :stop:
Funnily enough, whilst doing the ironing this morning, I used iplayer to listen to, first, yesterday's Now Show, followed by yesterday's Archers....

I've just been back to my old copy of Richard's Bicycle Book to check what Alexei Sayle claimed it said about killing an attacking dog. As I expected it was a wild exaggeration, but it chimed just enough with my (fond) memories of the book that I could almost have believed it.

A) I like Alexei... I find him very witty and intelligent
B) The Young Ones was great
C) The Now Show is kind of OK, but yes, the news uqiz (hopefully even without Sandi T) is better.
