I see that Aldi have this on sale (not here I might add) and Lidl had some in our local store a few weeks back.

But what is it and what is it supposed to do?

Do excuse my ignorance...............

It's supposed to relieve you of your hard-earned, or alternatively ..... compression clothing.

Compression shorts are also popular among female athletes, especially among those who wear skirts or kilts during games. In those situations, athletes wear compression shorts under the skirt so if they fall over and their skirts ride up, their underwear will not be exposed. This is seen particularly in women's lacrosse and field hockey; both being no-contact sports in which players often wear skirts.

They make it sound like a recent invention though I am jealous on behalf of the school-girl me. We had to wear those god-awful gym knickers. :shudder:

It helps those of us of a less svelte profile, or indeed recovering from such a dsiposition to keep the still wobbly bits in place.

There, I've said in.

As we might say in Scotland, "it hauds ye in."

Hold fire on the episode of Carry On Cycling, I have a potential answer !

It's something to do with your muscles, and making then get less fatigued or something like that.

It feels good on your dangly bits as well in my opinion, a lot more comfy than my loose old boxers I used to wear when cycling (the male version that is)
