For those who have not yet seen it, the cycling film
'A Boy, A Girl and a Bike' is being shown on Thursday 27th May at the Picture House in Hebden Bridge, West Yorkshire as part of the Hebden 500 Festival.
Filmed in 1949, the story is based around a Yorkshire cycling club called the Wakeford Wheelers.
Stars include Honor Blackman, Diana Dors, Anthony Newley, John McCallum and I am told a very young Jimmy Saville.
Filmed locally around Hebden Bridge and the surrounding area it could be interesting.
Starts at 7-45pm and is on for one night only.
