Cycling goes mainstream with the M&S chino

I thought I'd left chinos behind me, after a brief dalliance with said trouser-style in my mid 30s (I also tried the wide-wale cord trouser for a while before deciding they gave me a look of sobriety , where I was more interested in cultivating a certain insouciant, nonchalant air).

Anyway, M&S are getting cycling chinos in, so I might have to get some.

This is a little worrying.
I've been buying my clothing for cycling from M&S since the days when St Michael was a boy. Now if they are going to call it cycle clothing I might have to look for another supplier as the thought of being recognised as a cyclist concerns me a bit.

On the subject of M&S menswear- They seem to have gone really rubbish lately. I went in for a boring shirt, pants and socks plus a look at jumpers and a fleece and found they had such an amazingly bad range in all these things that I came out with nothing.
