First of all, hi guys - its been a while since I posted here last, I hope you're all well.
So - british guy, living in England originally, didn't like how things were going and decided to pack up my bags around 9 years ago and headed east... to Japan.
Cycling for me in this time kind of fell into a shoe box type situation, sort of tucked away under the bed and forgotten about. Until kind of last year and got the typical Giro/TDF/Vuelta rush and started doing a little cycling and some gym cycling too (but of course that doesn't really count haha).
Being surrounded in Osaka by mountains pretty much to North/East/South, I don't know why but this spring it just set off a switch in my head and I thought, I have to ride these places more, as well as just some of the cultural spots of the Kansai region and just get out there and see more of the area I live in rather than just going day to day and working for works sake.
This came to a head a few weeks ago and I pulled the pin on a newer bike, this time picking up a Specialized Allez and some other gear, I've already got some GoPros from my work and editing software, so I'm not on a mission to scour the Kansai area and start living outdoors more over these coming weeks and months.

Now I had been lazy and just posted some Pro Cycling Manager content from my PC previously, but as per the above video, I got out into the hills of Osaka yesterday to record a quick update video, and Ive got a lot more to come to show some temples, culture, food, scenery from this amazing country that I've come to call home. And I think cycling is starting to make me feel more connected..
I'm looking forward to this adventure.
