Just stumbled on this thread, and watched this video.

Really like the relaxed and easy going presentation style, and seeing such a different country/culture is fascinating.

How do other road users tend to treat cyclists over there?

For the most part, pretty good. Much better than say back in the UK.

Of course, there are some idiots that have some road rage, but there’s a system for reporting them to the police and I’ve often got cameras going so easy to do if I want to.

Nearly got taken out by an old guy in a Mazda Roadster yesterday…
We had a brief discussion and I reminded him of the legally required space to be provided to cyclists.. he apologized so no need for me to follow it up
