I'm not really familiar with your bit of Norfolk though so can't help you with routes. Have a look at your council's 'bike it' routes. The South Norfolk Bike It routes are great so surely your council will have something similar.

Are you in the RAF Martyn?

There should be plenty of little back roads round there, just be careful about all the tarted up little hatch backs that seem to blast around the outskirts of Kings Lynn on summers evenings. :smile:

thanks saluki, as i said i'm i got a car so willing to throw the bike in the boot.
ive had a look on council websites etc just not really found a cycle route within 25 mile really
yeah stephec i'm in the RAF
yeah ive noticed i went out the other evening. really flat round here.

In case you've not found it yet, your nearest signed cycle routes are NCN11 at Watlington or Downham Market (north to King's Lynn to join the coast route, south to Ely and then it goes a bit odd to Cambridge) and RR30 near Southery. Not close, but reachable by back roads and within 25 miles. Hope you're getting on OK and have discovered the Berney Arms and Twenty Church Wardens
