I'm female in my early sixties. Back to leisure bike riding after bit of a break. Great to have a place to find information and share experiences. New bike-Ridgeback Anteron.

Set off yesterday cycling like the wind, couldn't believe how fast on the fairly level track  I could go. Went further than initially planned and then I turned around to head back.:blush: Turns out it was the strong wind doing most of the work!!

Anyway thoroughly enjoyed it and hope to get to know folk on here.

Don't worry, you'll soon get into the habit of checking the wind direction before setting off and planning your ride accordingly . ^_^

Done the same thing myself before, so I wouldn't worry too much about it.

Welcome to CC.

Thank you for the welcome. I do love loops but not fit enough to tackle the local ones yet.

:welcome: The only time I ride like the wind, when the tail wind is hitting force 9 or 10
