I've been using Muddy Fox shoes (same pair) for a year and a half now. Went thro' one winter and the only sign of wear is at the velcro fasteners. I don't doubt for one minute they won't be as good as a more expensive shoe but they have done a good job for me for twenty quid. Comfortable enough for my wee size 7 broad feet.

I suppose the Shimano/http://www.wiggle.co.uk/shimano-mt3...d=5360406589&gclid=CPLM0_zGoLsCFZHItAodMDMAiw
But fitted with the recessed SH56 style cleats I think are better, well I find them so as can with a bit of practice get your foot out easier than the SH51 ones that come with the pedals.

Yes I got the Shimano MT33 shoe with lots of tread on it thinking I would be touring (and hence need them for walking) as got the trek 7200 hybrid before my road bike but ended up cycling more on the T3 so don't really need the tread so perhaps the over shoes would be easier to put on the EIGO shoe logical ?
