Hello ladies (and curious gentlemen!)

So I have a pair of these - http://www.wiggle.co.uk/castelli-womens-free-aero-waist-shorts/ - they have been lovely, but have done a lot of miles, and a lot of washes and are now looking a little sad and in need or replacement.

My head says I should just order another pair of these, I know the fit and the pad suit me and they will probably get £100 worth of use - BUT I'm in the middle of a house move and job change and could really do with a cheaper alternative that requires less justification.

Any suggestions/experiences of shorts which are as comfy as the above but easier on the wallet?

I was going to recommend my favourite shorts, but I just found out they don't make them anymore!!! No!!

(DHB Aeron Race)

The more expensive (so probably closer to the Castelli's are still available, though in very dull colours.

Trouble is you just aint the same shape as anyone else - you don't ride like anyone else and you don't sit like anyone else. Like saddles it all depends on your bum and no-one can really offer a cast iron [sorry] answer.

The one review of those is pretty damning, in comparison to other castelli shorts
They are the same short as the 4.3 star rated aero free that the OP loves. With a review sample size of one balanced with 20 positive reviews and free returns I would be all over these.

Thanks Ladies will get looking through them - unfortunately those ones at Wiggle aren't my size otherwise I'd have snapped them up - free returns and all that!
