I've used 7 quid Bolle safety glasses for cycling for some time now, however I'm in a position to get some new sunglasses for free as a treat. (Long story short, my employer has kindly given us a 250 pounds bonus, but it can only be spent at certain retailers - For me, the only real options are Evans and Amazon).

I've decided on a pair of Rudy Project with half the money, I've wanted a pair since the late 80s. I know they're not to everyone's taste, but I really like these, just a tiny bit loud.

So what's your idea of a cool pair of cycling shades? Any flamboyant Cippolini Briko goggle wearers out there, or are you more conservative?

They're nice.

I still use Bolle safety glasses. No plans to change either since I tend to lose at least one pair a year..

I like them.....

funnily enough I had to replace my cycling specs this week (madison ones I won from cycling active mag finally bought it this week).... I could of bought (and did consider) some Dewalt tinted safety specs from work but..... a visit to my LBS persuaded me to purchase some Tifosi's with interchangeable lenses for a reasonable 30 quid...

Evans price matched them with a Continental retailer. Used them on a muggy Audax last weekend. You know the weather that fogs your eyewear? No issues with steaming up. I was amazed. Very light, grippy and as I wear contacts, I didn't experience any dryness or watery eyes even onvery fast descents. Worth every penny. You can swap out the lenses too. The soft case within the hard case holds the spare lenses in a little sleeve. I got hold of some clear lenses which look the business.
