Ah, the bandana. It's the look of the bald cyclist who doesn't yet want to admit it. Pantani, step forward.

Wayfarers I like... most cool. But cycling with them on? Breezy I'd imagine, with streaming eyes a definite.
I have two pairs of bootleg Wayfarers, both under £7 on Amazon or Ebay or somewhere. Great sunglasses...but I don't look cool and I don't ski or cycle any better because I put them on. If I pissed away a bit more, I assume my athleticism would improve enormously...?????

I still wear the yellow- lensed Mumbos every day I ride to work, they were a birthday present back in the early 90's
The iridiums are a summer pair
The Flak-Jackets were for a family holiday, to Florida, back in February 2012 (bought by my wife)
I also have, somewhere - maybe in one car, or the other - a pair of early Frogskins (translucent greay frame/purple iridium lens)

No idea where these Razor-Blades(?) are
Taken here, back in the early 90's...... https://westridingtrackleague.com/

I also had a pair of Eyeshades, but sold them to someone on 'RetroBike', along with a clear lens
Post Hill race (Yorkshire Mountain Bike Club event), early 90's & on a ride somewhere
(might still even have that '2 WG' jersey??)

A quick question - I passed a cycling club group the other day who were in all the latest gear, carbon bikes etc and they were all wearing sunglasses. Except it was a dark, dismal day with the rain chucking it down. Were these serving any purpose? (I had clear lenses in my Decathlon things)

Most people in our club wear photochromic lenses. one lens all conditions.

I too see a lot like that - even when it's dusk/dark...................................
I wear yellow lenses all year round - unless it's brilliant sunshine, & I'm out on best bike

So I got my Rudy Project glasses today, for some reason the red frames didn't turn up, but a fluro red pair did instead. No matter, I like them. Not returning. ^_^

I still like my Mumbos, but after 25 years, the frame has cracked in 2 places, so they don't hold as tight
Plus, they need another set of nose/ear rubbers

They still bear the scratches from my only RTC, back in 1997, when I hit a stationary (later found to be abandoned/no registered keeper) car, on an unlit national speed limit road & was dazzled by opposing traffic
