Hi Folks,

I am Manasij Ganguli, an avid mountain biker from India.

I have been biking in the magnificent Himalayas for quite some time now.

In my quest to ride up to interesting places, I have cycled up to the highest road on planet Earth, the legendary KhardungLa pass which is at 18,380 feet!
Read the blog here.

I am new to this forum and here is the link of all of my mountain biking expeditions in the high Himalayas

I would be very happy to get your views!

Cheers,
Manasij

Great blog - I've only had a quick look but it seems you've had a real adventure!

The Manali - Leh road is on my 'to do' list.

Unfortunately, it's only 17,582 ft these days (the original pass was a mule track that followed a different line to the current road).
There's a higher road at Semo La in central Tibet.

(just for some incentive to keep riding)
