Cycling the witterings

I do most of my cycling around Selsey bill and Chichester.There's a great circular route from west sands round to Bracklessham,the Witterings,Itchenor and Chichester,back round to Selsey(28miles).
I want to try and cycle from Selsey to Portsmouth next season,anyone know of a good route or have used the hayling island foot ferry.

pm StuAff and ask him. I suspect he'll recommend the A259, but, if you're travelling at the weekend don't neglect the Itchenor to Bosham ferry

The South Coast Cycleway is a (poorly) signposted option, and much the sames as NCN2

Marked on the OSM Cyclemap as SCCR and NCN2. Also a quiet route as much of the traffic ignores the old A27.

Then enters Portsmouth via the Hayling Billy and Hayling Island Ferry

Yeh,used that a few times,I'd use that on my way to hayling island
