Hi All,

Been a while since I've posted on here.
Yesterday I went out for 15 miles around my local town. Which usually is quite a pleasant potter.

However, I thought I'd chance it whilst I'm on my recovery period of a spot of Summer Man-Flu.
Never ridden before after I've been ill, but I struggled so much!

Just wanted to share my experiences and look into if others struggled as much as I did!

Don't overdo it ... I made that mistake once and ended up unconscious behind a dry stone wall!

Still, you have to start back some time. Keep the distance and intensity down until you feel fully recovered and then build back up to what you were doing pre-illness.

Exercising whilst ill should be discouraged, not nice in the first place, can make things worse and even give you myocarditis. Have a well deserved rest and give your immune system a workout and not yourself.
