Cyclist dies after road collision

A 29-year-old cyclist has died following a road accident in Exeter. Lee Squire was involved in a collision with a Mercedes Vito people carrier on Thursday evening at the junction of Summerland Street and Western Way.
He was taken to Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital with severe head injuries and pelvic fractures and later transferred to Derriford Hospital in Plymouth.
A spokesman for Devon and Cornwall Police said Mr Squire died in the early hours of Saturday.
