Wow - the media are interested in pot holes? I'll start forwarding them the 8 hours of pot hole footage I record every week on my commute....

Its not just the potholes, they are easier to see and avoid, there's also the uneven and poorly completed tarmac reinstatements. I'm thinking of changing my route to work because I always end up with headache from going over all the lumps and bumps in the road

My area is really bad now after all the snow and rain.

I wrote to the council about standards for road repair and road works. Because they have stopped doing the tar in the joins, it means that the repair is good for about two months then becomes a pot-hole. Older repairs on the roads I'm are mostly still good because the edges are waterproofed, the repairs from last year are a disaster.

I have noticed a lot of small stones at the side of the road, most of them out of the many pot holes in the road.

The Horseshoe used to be a roller racing venue a few years back I think. I never went there even though I only lived two streets away for a few months.

My favourite pub at the time was the Three Kings (on the left at 12 seconds). This was a while back - is it any good now?
