2 weeks isnt too bad, best to heed the advice rather than too much too soon , hope you have a speedy recovery

Try bracing yourself so you don't move when you sneeze.Bloody hell! I just sneezed and thought my innards were heading outwards!
To cap it all, I just opened the parcel containing my basket for the Dawes, and despite it saying the fixing kit was included, it isn't.
I've emailed so hopefully one will be sent on soon.
I held my side best I could but it wasn't enough! Someone suggested holding a pillow or cushion against it but I don't always get that much notice!Try bracing yourself so you don't move when you sneeze.
Been back at the docs today. Had a really sore rough throat, which it know can happen with intubation.
My throat and mouth are wrecked! Black and blue and raw patches of skin!!
No infection though and I've been given a spray to numb it.
Managed another yoghurt today, yay!
The throat spray is pure magic lol.Good luck and I hope you feel less nauseous soon. Those tubes do seem to get shoved in. Last month I woke up with a fat lip and a very sore throat. Also hoping that the numbing stuff does it's job and the throat is less sore.

Not a great night though a few more hours sleep than previous - still extremely nauseous, blah!
