Cyclist injured in Bristol - HGV

Clearly I dont know the facts here, but NEVER go up the inside of an HGV or other large vehicle. There are always blind spots in his mirrors!

Fully agreed and I hope no one using this forum ever attempts to pick 'arguments' with lorries or any vehicle for that matter.
If ever there was a mandatory riding test for cyclists, behaving oneself around HGVs would be right up there on the curriculum.
Mind you folks, it is in a lot of people's mindset.. how many cars do you see on the inside of trucks....?
A few of them get squashed on as well from time to time.. but at least it's only metal.. not flesh, bone, blood, ligaments, tendons, skin
