Not great news, also strange that it happened in a car park. I wonder how it happened.

Yer its not good the Cops have not said how it happened yet and it was the third of the day

Very sad. Strange on a route I've cycled hundreds of times and so near to the centre of York but then there was that other one in selby allied to the TPT too.

Always sad to read those type of stories, it's also puzzling that a big artic can be in the same vacinity as a cycleway!!!!!!!!!!!!

This happened very near to where I live in York and I often use the route into town.

The lorry was delivering portaloos to York Racecourse and the cycle track crosses the service road immediately after passing a hedge and going down a slight slope. It is a poorly designed hazardous place.
