has anyone started a thread for spotted idiot cyclists that you see like all the silly bus and car drivers threads people post up?

you see a lot of cyclist that are clearly their own worst enemy when if comes to riding on busy road in towns and cities.

I think you'll find that people talk quite freely about cyclists that act in daft ways here, and be just as likely to encourage people to behave safely when riding on the roads. Have a search through the forums, and you'll see what I mean.

"are clearly their own worst enemy"

And there is the key. I'm unlikely to get a cyclist overtake me too closely at 40mph whilst on their mobile. And I've yet to see a cyclist negotiating traffic whilst reading a book. I've seen plenty of cyclists doing stupid things, but at most I've been inconvenienced (the young woman yakking on her mobile whilst riding the path through Whitworth Park - had to sit behind her at 8mph for the duration).

I've seen people point out stupid cycling on this forum before now, but speaking from my own perspective, I'm far more likely to notice and comment on crap driving because;
a) Drivers are more numerous
:biggrin: Drivers are far more dangerous to me if they are unable to drive safely around me.

Yes.

I'll take Outer Planets for 500, please.

What is the name of Pluto's moon?

Rootes, yes, people often post about numpty cyclists. In fact, that's where I learned the word "numpty" and a very good word it is too...

Do you have something against cyclists that suffer from acne? That's a bit mean surely. I once was spotted, although I didn't cycle at the time. I'm not sure if anyone talked about me in a thread though.......:biggrin:

It's now a planetoid

I will stubbornly still refer to it as a planet, out of sympathy for it. Poor dark, cold little thing, life's bad enough, then they demote it!
