The landing page headline says "man".

And the Guardian story relates to Germany, where it is an offence not to render aid.

It's been quite an issue over here of late. There was an infamous case recently on the Autobahn where drivers refused to create an emergency corridor to let ambulance and fire crews through to an incident. The article also links to another similar story, this time a bus crash in Bavaria. Utterly sick and disgraceful behaviour.

Being as the vast majority of folk around here cycle it's not really that relevant a detail to the story. You might as well have said the pedestrian or car driver for all that it adds to the story.
