Sorry if this is a duplicate...
Just read The Metro and a two page article headed "Rage against the road machines".
Seems pretty much how each feels apart from one statement...
Drivers get annoyed at cyclists who jump red RLJ and cyclists get annoyed when a driver sits on their rear wheel.

Hello, wake up... If an RLJ has to emergency brake for whatever reason, I doubt a car would slam into his rear injuring or killing him!
Dear Mr McGuiness, you cannot use that as a comparison for them getting "annoyed"

If the electronic article is the same as the printed on, then the link between the two is questionable.

Edmund King, president of the Automobile Association (AA), said: ‘There’s no doubt people change their attitudes depending on what mode of transport they’re using. A driver in a car might get annoyed with a cyclist not stopping at a red light but when that same driver is on a bike they might get annoyed with a car driving too close to them.
The examples are no links or comparatives, simply examples.

The problem that is not addressed in the article which is pivotal is the vast asymmetry in the problems

So while drivers complain about things cyclists do that are no more than minor annoyances, cyclists are complaining about things drivers do that maim and kill them. If cyclists killed and injured as many drivers in accidents as drivers kill and injure cyclists then it could be called war but as it is its cyclists exercising their right to self defence
