Well i am well into this brilliant Christmas pressie now.This show is one of the greatest treasures of our comedy history.And what is so nice i can watch each episode right through without commercial breaks.I am getting really cheesed off with the amount of commercials this cable tv puts on.I have started watching Eternal Law filmed in York.So this week i counted four breaks for said commercials three around six mins and the last one about four mins.Over twenty mins or more of interuptions.Crap,might just start watching more dvds.Even the BBC said over 60% of their telly is repeats.Could i repeat my Tv license,i doubt it.Well when the girls leave home its going.

One of the writers lived not too far from Thetford so a lot of the episodes were filmed in and around it. It was also where I grew up.
In the episode where they caught a U-boat crew, the scene where they are escorting the them (with the help of a hand grenade) was right outside our house. These dwellings used to be warehouses without the windows and are the background in the scene.

I sky plus a lot of stuff now and watch it the next day so I can fastforward the breaks. If I watch something on TV as it showing I tend to miss a lot of it as I flick when the ads are on and forget to go back.
