Yesterday, I had a Covid Jab (some might say that is daft in it's own right 🤔😆) and was told to go home and sleep, etc (I was already sleep deprived anyway) and that I might feel unwell later.

Well, against my better judgement, I ended up in the pub and got absolutely plastered last night instead.

Fast forward to this morning and... Bloody 'ell!!
Being half cut and suffering the residual effects of the Jab is NOT good!!

I had nausea, the headache from hell (not actually alcohol induced) and a high temperature, giving me rigors.

I have managed to cool down now and get some liquids into myself, but, being half cut and suffering a mini dose of Covid this morning, it is not one of my finer moments!! 😆

Had a “thing” on my back removed. No big deal, local freezing, a few stitches and was told to get myself home and rest.

Off we went to town on the bus For lunch and a day of shopping. Worked out okay.

Driving the motorbike through my high school worked out okay too, guess I’m just lucky.

Yesterday I was out for the evening, and found someone who was looking sleep-deprived. So I asked him if he was alright. Very kindly he invited me to join him for a few drinks.

We were drinking until very late, and I decided to go home, before I fell asleep under the table. Now I have a hangover.

Should I be concerned about my companion for the evening, and whether he got home? I imagine he has the headache from hell this morning.

I'm sure he did, don't worry! 😆

Smoking, everybody smoked in the 50/60s if you didn’t then folks would think there’s something wrong with you.
However, I progressed to a pipe then small cigars. My becoming Diabetic I was told that it’s not good for me so I stopped smoking by using free nicotine patches. Within a week was feeling lots better and no craving.
I have my twice yearly check ups now and the medical profession says there’s no signs that I have ever smoked. I recon I have been very lucky and can’t understand why people smoke now.

Ignoring the signs of Bowel Cancer (specifically a one off bleed I put down as piles passing) and continuing to do the LEJOG etc wasn't my best moment. If I had got things seen to I might not of had to undergo chemotherapy :-/

Camping & hitchhiking, many moons ago, I thought that opening a tin of beans with a small axe was a good idea..
After I'd been & got stitches put into the gash in my in my thumb, I worked out that a tin opener would be the better option next time.. 🪓

Lefty tighty. Get it righty.
I was a smoker for years. Nothing much dafter health-wise than that.

Incidentally, one of my covid jabs gave me a tremendously accurate facsimile of a hangover the next day. I'd gone into central London to watch a friend in the Marathon but I had to bail and go home to bed. (I've been teetotal for 18 years, but I used to inflict some monster hangovers on myself)
