I've just been reminded of the headline in one of our local Slough newspapers when "Cupid Marital Aids Boutique" opened in the 60s/70s. Apparently the quote in the paper was....."We don't want this sort of thing rammed down our throats"

I'm sure ages ago someone posted a headline from a local newspaper that said 'mischief makers given stern talking to' or something like that.

Some of those headlines from The Sun are just atrocious. Sometimes I wonder whether they have a big archive of yet to be used headlines waiting for just the right scandal or controversy.
