It wasn't my pulse jet. I've baulked at forking out £43 per gallon for nitromethane and have yet to drill out the spray bar to suit petrol.

CIWS does exactly that, although it's a defensive system of last resort as the kinetic energy alone from the debris can be deadly, though a lot less than an explosion.
