I was a young lad when Doctor Who started and the Daleks were my favourite foes.

I entered a competition to win a Dalek and I won! I was very excited waiting for it to be delivered, expecting it to be a 'real' one. I burst into tears when it arrived and I discovered that it was a kit to make a cardboard one about 9 inches high!

I can remember as maybe an 8 year old watching Dr Who and at the time, the Cybermen scared the cr&p out of me .
Oh gawld i can still remember wanting a pee when it was on....jeez, id run hell for leather up the stairs, pee as fast as i could then run helter skelter back down.

Didn't the original ones only work on metal floors ? They can do everything other than run now (OK they can't roll fast). Maybe we need a Zombie Dalek - some films have zombies that can run, how unfair.
