Hey guys i'm wanting to know a little bit more about what to expect from such a ride (the Firkin is optional thankfully). Or a similar one, or even any riding in the dales you may or may not have done

It's coming up in May this year. 60 miles long and features a large hill near askrigg, swaledale -> wensleydale.

I am able to ride 45/50 miles over fairly hilly terrain here in the Huddersfield area so I reckon that even now I could complete it but it will be hard, any advice please?

Just do it.

You'll cope if you have the hilly miles under your belt.

Your degree of success will depend on the target that you set yourself.

I'm happy finishing any ride that I start.
