Bit of a clanger, ring the station and don't let them give you the brush off!

Still, look on the bright side Chris, you can now ride free without a helmet to spoil your enjoyment of cycling. Would you like to borrow a cap?

I did the same on tour in Scotland last year, getting off the train in Glasgow. I got half way down the street before I remembered. Luckily it was the end of the line so I legged it back to the station and found the train still on the platform.

I wouldn't mind but the only reason I realised I didn't have it, is I went to take it off when I got home...........

I did wonder why there was so little wind noise tonight.

I lost an Atmos and watched it drop from my helmet holder in my bag down into the Thames -my friend and I watched it bob along in the murky water like some lost seal. Replaced it but rarely use it as it sits gathering dust - if I need it ie competitive or club cycling then it'll come out but have prefer to be helmetless otherwise
