I use Firefox 3.6, or IE8, and Vista.

On this laptop my home page, UK MSN doesn't fill the whole screen, but leaves a border all round about an inch and a bit wide. This border was a pale blue, but suddenly today it has turned black and there is a wording that says Bing, skins on. Click on it and the screen reverts to the pale blue. As soon as I leave the home page, then return to it, the border reverts to black and I have to click on the Bing skins thing to get back to blue.

Its not the end of the world, but I find the black distracting. Can I get back to how it was, pale blue all the time.

This happens on Firefox and IE.

Well, I don't know.

I have had the black border all morning, then went out for a couple of hours and when I came home and turned the laptop back on everything had reverted to as I like it.

I think it may be something to do with advertising. Last week I had a very intrusive car advertisement for a couple of days, now this week this Bing whatever it was.
