So I took possession of my new cyclo-cross bike on Monday, a Giant TCX2.
Much as I'm loving it, I realised last night that I can't transfer either my Cateye Mity8 computer or my Cateye 510 front light from my old MTB commuter due to the oversize bars. (*note to self, must do more research when buying a bike! )
Anyway, having got over the grrr factor, I'm happily in the market for alternative items to do the job. As such, can anybody recommend either a similar cateye trip computer and/or a similar front light for about £50 budget as well that they use on oversize bars currently?
I'm considering mounting the computer on the stem instead, such as the wireless Micro but would like to check out more options if available, for example:the wired Enduro 8 although that doesn't mention whether it can be stem mounted. Does anybody have experience of either of these?
And without descending into a complete 'what light' thread, any infoadvice on the light issue would be much appreciated!
