Did the HotN last year and really enjoyed it. Mrs TG wants to do the 50 this year and just seen that the route goes through Appleton Wiske where we used to live, so she'll really be up for it now!

I'm originally from Darlo, hope to get the bike up there one day. Maybe next year when I turn the big Hawaii Five-O. I used to have a paper round back in 1978 and cycled around town a lot but mostly out to Broken Scar and Low Conniscliffe with my mates for a swim in the Tees. Aaah, those were the days (gone all nostalgic....)
