Can't stand Bowie, his music and as for his acting, he makes Micheal Caine look good.
Michael Caine is brilliant.

It was in reference to his cold turkey trips when he was detoxing IIRC
To be fair, I thought Bowie was good as Pontius Pilate in the Last Temptation of Christ. I didn't recognise him because he'd dyed his hair black and I thought he was good. I think Michael Caine is good too when he's actually trying to act, and not just being Michael Caine.
To listen to the music press you'd think Bowie's come back was the Second Coming and every utterance from his lips some form of high art.
It might be me, but I'm just not getting it, vaguely interesting pop music yes... but there's others better (and not to mention younger).
Now where did I put my Justin Bieber album?
. I have a strange feeling that Bieber will be long forgotten in a matter of months, whereas Bowie has cleverly managed to adjust his image and his music over the years and moved with the times. I like his music but wouldn't go so far as to say I am a Bowie fan. I was born in 1962 so his music has been with me through my teenage years (Space Oddity, Rebel Rebel, The Man Who Sold The World etc. etc.) into early adulthood (Ashes to Ashes, Blue Jean, Under Pressure) and up to the present day.
I was just about to post what a genius Bowie is and you go and post something like that! Don't you dare put up a youtube link![]()
