Daytime rear LED light

While out on a ride yesterday I came across a TT race (on a dual carriageway in the Bentley/Farnham area if you're interested). One of the riders had an ultra bright rear light that flashed twice red then a single white flash so it was going red-red-white, red-red-white.

I'm not asking about the merits of having a white flash at the rear but it was very eye catching even on a bright day. Does anyone know what light this is? He was going at a fair old pace so there was no chance of me getting close enough to ask!!

Can't say I know the light but it's use on a bike is illegal (showing a white light to the rear).
