I have a 2012 Carrera crossfire which is done only a few hundred miles from new. I last used it a few weeks ago for a short bike ride around 15 miles or so without any issues.
Today I switched it on and gotten error, "display indicate code 42".
The battery was indicating 80% charge. I look the bike over and noticed that the motor connector was undone so reconnected it.
After that I've been unable to get the bike to switch on at all, it's completely dead.
I've under hatch on the bottom of the frame and slid out the controller, disconnected and reconnected everything after a good spray with contact cleaner, same with the motor connector.
No joy.
I took the battery out and tested the positive and negative terminal with a voltage tester, it shows around one volt which dissipates rapidly to 0 each time I test it.
I'm wondering if there's a few somewhere which might be blown?
