Dear D
I am very sorry to hear of the incident you recently experienced regarding a Parcelforce driver. I can understand how angry you feel because of this.
I have informed the Depot Manager of your complaint and it will be addressed with the driver concerned.
I am sorry but as you did not supply a contact telephone number in your email I was unable to request a call back for you.
If you would like to supply a contact telephone number I can forward this to the depot and ask a manager to contact you direct. Alternatively, if you would like to contact the depot direct you can reach them on xxxx xxx xxx please select option no.5.
I am confident that the action taken will address the cause of this issue and will prevent any further occurrences.
Please accept my apologies and thank you for taking the time to bring this matter to our attention.
Kind regards

(Actually its not mine, I just lodge here, so I'm loathe to hand it out after all the sales calls we get..)Atleast they did better than DHL many years back - who depsite time and date, and supplying location and drivers appearance details - had me running around re-supplying info.
I hope the driver is spoken to, I would hate to see a situation where he oneday is late home and has to explain to his significant other "sorry love, I broke another human being in half today."

My theory is that they get close enough to see the 2 inch high letters and think "oh maybe thats what I need to do" and it reassures the less experienced at overtaking us.
I have seen a couple of "3feet2pass" tabbards online somewhere. Might be American.weevil said:I've seen a few of these on horse riders around our way. I don't know much notice drivers would take of this message on the back of a cyclist, but it might be worth a try.

Mind you, you would be probably done for impersonating a policeman which would be ironic as you never see any of them around anyway.
weevil said:Maybe, but there's nothing to prevent you having "POLITE" instead.
