I had one of these from a fish n chip shop in Plymouth. It was so gooey I don't know how you Scots keep eating them.
Like AndyRM says, we don't.
I have never met a Scot who has had one, nor seen one for sale in a chippy (and I get a fish supper every Thursday night).
It's a myth become reality elsewhere.
we don't we just scam tourists into paying £4 for a Mars Bar
It only cost £1. That's not much more than a standard Mars Bar costs.
Deep fried pizza is nice - I had it once in Moffat. They also sold a variety of other things you could have in batter.
The haggis was really nice too - especially with a cup of mushy peas to dunk it in.

Just top bantz innit? After all we jocks are all bitter, obese alkies with nothing to do but listen to the Proclaimers while comparing tartans.
