Does anyone use no nonsense heavy duty degreaser for their drivetrain? I have previously used muc off and Morgan blue however looking at possible alternatives.

I got a large bottle of degreaser from Screwfix

less than the price of the normal cycle degreaser you get from bike shops in teeny tiny bottles

works just fine

Heating oils not environmentally friendly but use it to both clean and thin out car engine oil to lubricate chains its about 60 pence a litre at present, i do keep the used oil and take it to the recycling centre so do not consider it very bad but perhaps a biodegradable degreaser may be better?

Do folk rinse with water after using degreaser or just wipe dry before lubing?
I might have a quick shower.
