Deuter Bike 1 2008 V's Osprey Talon 22

Hello everyone,

This is my 1st post and a worthy one I am hoping for comments, opinions, putdowns whatever information I can get from those in the know :-)

I am wanting a new rucksack and I am unable to choose between the above. I am commuting 5 days a week approx 12 miles in total and carry my work clothes (not shoes) toiletries, lunch, and waterproofs etc, I will also use it for weekends both biking and hiking.

I want a rucksack that has a ventilation system for my back, I do generate a fair bit of heat so any clearance from the back and venting will be a great. I am not interested in any system that attaches to the bike BTW, I know what I want, but what I am after is anyone out there have experience of either of the above two and can offer some well informed advice.

Expensive, but shop around. I paid £35 I think in March. It's got a system that keeps the bag off your back, and seems to work pretty well.

Vaude make Edinburgh Bike Co-Op's "Stow" range, as I recall - back system is the same as that of the Vaude branded sacs.
