I didn't know you could put mobiles near to magnets without damaging them.... or is that just credit cards?

I was a bit dubious at first too, but they are specifically designed as mobile phone magnets, so I gave it a go, and no probs. Works a treat. I have one in the car, on the dashboard, so I can use the phone's satnav (google maps/navigate). I also keep the phone plugged in to the ciggie lighter, and get it to play sound through the radio speakers.
There's a similar magnet product here on Amazamazon.

during my airsoft days it was indeed AEG +1 syndrome, you went to a shoot and someone had a shiner gun than you.
tents i totally get, camping/walking gear has that N+1 thing all to itself.
its what the users on the music forums call GAS (gear acquisition syndrome)

Do you use them tho? :hungry:

Of course ... though I have to admit I've probably never cooked more than about 30 % (well in some books up to 50%) of the recipes. If I find one nice recipe in a cook book I'm happy. This week I did a new recipe for carrot hummus which I (and the rest of the family) liked - from Hugh F-W, though I've had the cookbook for a while (and done a number of the other recipes), it's just nice to dip into for inspiration sometimes.

I could probably add cats too :mrpig:

I'm not sure it's going to be that good tonight ... I cooked a whole chicken at the same time as defrosting the fridge two nights ago and then left out a bit of the fridge so it became really cold - to the extent that the chicken had frozen (couldn't eat it last night). Fridge shelf thing now restored and temperatures back to normal so it will be the defrosted chicken tonight (probably not quite so nice) ... with some dill and I'm not sure what else! I'll be going to investigate shortly. I had to chuck out some of the veg and cook the rest yesterday as they went all soggy after being frozen! Trying to do too many things at once.
Edit: just remembered the dill was one of things that suffered in the big freeze ... ok some chillies I think instead.
