Did a leisure ride this morning...

Which, sadly, is unusual for me. I didn't realise just how long it had been since I just went out for the fun of it

Anyway, I was up before 5:00 this morning so thought I'd quietly get my kit together and nip out for an early morning ride.
For the first time ever, I tried it with music playing from my phone, and I liked it!
Wouldn't suit me personally for my commute, but it was just loud enough to hear and enjoy without drowning out the birdsong

Being me, I couldn't resist a couple of snaps, so now I can bore you lot with them

It's been a nice morning actually, I was back before the family were up having done a quick 35 miles and burned over 2000 calories

We often forget that cycling should also be about simply having fun!

Lovely! When the clocks have gone forward, I love to get out on a Sunday morning bright and early and enjoy a good 20 mile blast round one of my coastal routes, with hardly a car on normally busy roads! Sheer bliss ...

Nice. Thats exactly what I did this morning too. Got lost in Locks Heath this time... I think it was Locks Heath. Set off at 6.30am and got back at 8. Just took it generally slow and careful so as not to aggrevate the knee.

Went out this morning, but only for a few 'laps' of town as I am not feeling too great at the moment and didn't want to go too far away from home.
