I find it amusing that you said 13A. So many people would mention volts. Which is obviously not the thing that kills you.you wouldn't stick your fingers into a live 13A socket outlet and then blame the electrician would you ?

polis commended her at inquest for not stopping if she thought it wasn't safe to do so according to the press reports. You hit anything you stop. Completely caved in one half of the screen, and it must have been bad to split the laminate.
I'd have charged her for failing to stop if nothing else would stick. Lets hope the lass remembers this all her life - her poor driving killed someone.
The cyclist could have been totally out of his face, but she should have seen him.
Just glad I watched it on I-player on the pc with the missus out.

Police rarely 'commend', especially in circumstances like this. You sure you don't mean the coroner? Even then I'd find it strange.
commend was my word, not theirs.Police rarely 'commend', especially in circumstances like this. You sure you don't mean the coroner? Even then I'd find it strange.
" the inquest heard how Miss Wright’s actions were praised by officers as it might not have been safe to stop where the collision took place "
from the report in the local paper. so it must be true. although maybe if there are cars wazzing along in far excess of the speed limit they could be right.
How do you know it was lying in front of her?Fair enough. I disagree strongly though. If there's a body lying on the road in front, I'm going to stop, with all my lights on, and can't possibly see how anyone could think it safer to do otherwise.
