Difference in a week!

Can't believe the diference in my fitness in a week. I've only been out 4 times and about 20 miles in total. Not much I know but last week I was struggling to walk up the hill to my house with my bike and the muscles in my legs were killing me. Today I cycled 5 miles and cycled all the way up the hill and not even out of breath! Could have easily cycled more but had to buy some shopping so didn't want to overdo it. And last week I was rather delicate sitting on the saddle and today the sadle was so comfy.

Just feel like sharing how great I feel :thumbsup:

Well done. I to have not been out for about a week. Got to get some tape for handlebars and put new brake levers on today so probably won't get out till tomorrow but I too am trying to increase my mileage and stamina. Last year I had about 2 months out of the saddle, with weather and work, and struggled with some of the hills I now ride up. A couple of times had to get off and walk the last bit. I'd like to say fly up now but I do make it up in the saddle :blush:.
Keep at it and the miles will get easier and faster.
