......this evening I am looking foward to having the second of two truly irrestible deep chocolate muffins to eat . On saturday night I had the first with thick rich Devon cream which was so tasty and fresh I felt the cow had only been milked that morining from my garden xx(. However this cream is now gone and I am in a bit of quandary as to what to dress my muffin with?

Do I rush out to the Co-Op and get some more thick Devon cream or go for a complete change of gastromique direction by cracking open a tin of Ambrosia Devon Custard or, third choice, place a huge scoop of Kelly's honey combe ice cream next to the chocolate muffin?

crank- that is cruel- where are the pictures?

I'd probably go for cream. Possibly combined with the ice cream but I think that would be too sweet hence why I've not considered the custard.

This probably wont help then Beanz. Sorry!

Custard for me tonight. With syrup sponge cake - they're doing the McVities Tate and Lyle ones for fifty p in the Co-Op. Flapjack and Custard comes highly recommended as well.

In Crankarms shoes I'd go for cream with the muffin, and then give Crackle a slap.

Well I had on the 2nd double deep chocolate muffin ............. some more truly irrestible extra thick Co-Op Devon cream as I did on the first .

When I visited the Co-Op this evening I had little choice as a pot of it was sitting waiting on the reduced shelf taunting me to buy it which made the decision to go for custard even less attractive.

I should have taken a pic of this delighful desert as OMG it was nice  :becool:.

Still there are some similar such blueberry muffins in the freezer which are OMG delicious with Ambrosia custard .
