Disadvantage of Car Ownership

Don't feel bad! I took one look out the window this morning an took the tube. Almost an hour longer, but was just not feeling the bike this morning!

I've been there for the last two weeks and taken the loud bike most days. I've balanced this with plenty of weekend riding, which is a whole new thing for and is part of a pledge that me and Missus Jeez have made ...to make more time to get our jollies as apposed to endless visits to friends houses...sorry friends, You'll understand

And it hasn't dipped below 0 dec C yet.

Arse to you, here last month I left at an air temp of -2c and arrived at work -3c and it's not even dec/jan/feb yet.

And I wore shorts... wusses. (my ears hurt though )

Unfortunately it is getting cold and wet and dark... I must admit, late autumn and winter are not my favourite times of the year .

I think here, in Central Scotland the weather is even worse than in the rest of the UK...
I always check the weather forecast (weather.co.uk is quite correct) and take my waterproof trousers and jacket, plus two pairs of gloves and sometimes overshoes as well with me if it is going to be rainy.

And while cycling in the freezing cold I dream about the next spring/summer...

And also I always take my thermos full of hot herbal tea with me these days...
